Before we expose you to the list of undergraduate scholarship for Nigerians in 2015, it is worthy to remind you that most of these scholarships have criteria for selecting students. Some of them require that you write an examination, a few doesn’t. But whatever be the case, you must showcase some distinguishing qualities to be shortlisted. Don’t join those who believe that scholarships are for only extra ordinarily brilliant students, winning a scholarship for tertiary education does not depend on whether or not you are “too good“, it’s about paying attention to instruction, being smart and getting materials to help you pass their exams.
#1. Agbami Medical & Engineering Scholarship
This scholarship is sponsored by Chevron Oil & Gas Nigeria and is meant for undergraduate students in any Nigerian University, studying either Medicine (*medical-related courses) and Engineering. Specifically, this scholarship for Medicine and Engineering courses is sponsored by Star and Deep and it’s Agbami Partners. Sometimes this scholarship is referred to as “Agbami Medical and Engineering Professional Scholarships (AMEPS).
How much is Agbami Scholarship? The Value is a whopping N200,000.oo for Medical Students and N100,000.oo for Engineering Students (per year). Open to 100L/200L.
#2. NNPC/Total Scholarship
This scholarship focuses on providing study financial aids to first year students of Nigerian descent to study till graduation in any recognized university within this country. Courses include Agriculture, Medical Sciences, Accounting, Business Admin, Banking & Finance, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Pure & Applied Sciences and Environmental.
How much is NNPC/Total Scholarship? Well, this study aid will make you N150,000.00 richer every year till you graduate! Starting from 100L.
#3. NNPC/Addax Scholarship
Open to first year students of universities in Nigeria, the scholarship is sponsored by Addax Petroleum Nigeria Limited. Winners of this scholarship receive support beginning from 100L till graduation.
How much is Addax Scholarship? N100,000.oo every year!
#4. NNPC/Chevron Scholarship
This scholarship is sponsored by the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation in partnership with Chevron Oil and Gas. They offer scholarship to Nigerian undergraduates in 200L of their programme. The scholarship cut across several courses.
How much is Chevron Scholarship? Well, the last time we checked it was N150,000.00 (every year!).
#5. Total E & P Scholarship
The Total E & P Scholarship is for first and second year students of any Nigerian University. The programme cut across several courses and is awarded every year. This is one of the scholarships to watch out for this 2015. We have full list of 2014 winners via this link.

#6. NLNG Scholarship
The purpose of the award is to promote academic excellence amongst university undergraduates in Nigeria. The Nigeria LNG Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme started in 1998 as part of Nigeria LNG Limited’s Corporate Social Responsibility to Nigerian Citizens to enhance human capacity development. How much is NLNG Scholarship? N150,000.00 per year.
#7. Exxon Mobil Scholarship
Every year, Exxon Mobil offer scholarship to eligible Nigeria undergraduate students in 200L (second year) of their courses/programmes. To win this scholarship, you must sit for an examination. But the value is worth it. It pays N150,000 to each winner annually.
#8. MTNF Science & Technology Scholarship
At least 200 students are chosen every year for this scholarship. An exam is conducted after which successful students are declared winners of whopping N200,000.00 every year until they graduate! This scholarship is mainly for science and technology related courses. Polytechnics and universities students are welcome to apply.
