Self-leadership is the key to effective leadership and lasting influence.
To become a great leader, you must first learn to lead yourself. You must first know where you are going to before you invite others to join you on the journey. 
“The foundation for effective leadership is Self-leadership. It is the practice of intentionally influencing your thinking, feeling and behaviors to achieve your objectives,” Bryant & Kazan 2012.
Self-leadership enables you to walk confidently with a clear understanding of who you are, what you can do, where you are going, and how to get there.
In my last post, I stated that Great Leaders have four (4) things in common:
1. Personal Life Plan
2. Leadership Or Business Vision
3. Leadership Or Business Plan
4. Established Leadership Prioritie
Today, I want to focus on Leadership Or Business Vision.
You can increase your leadership credibility and influence by developing
a clear and inspiring vision. A clear vision inspires participation and
increases momentum in every organization. 
Develop a clear mental picture of a desired or preferred future. Let others see what you see. Let everyone understand why you exist, what you deeply believe, where you are going, what you see in the future, what you will be doing to get there, and who you will become.
Write your vision, read it out, share it with others, review it continually and readjust it as you grow in perspective.
Your leadership or business vision will give you confidence, help you
see the big picture, keep you focused, influence your decisions and
inspire participation.
